Hi all..
First of all.. I like to thank all that attribute to this wonderful website and to the cause. Great JOB!
First off, all the templates are great.. I encode almost all my movies in 704x480, and they look awesome. The only draw back is that it takes so freaking LLLLOOOONNNGGG.. I takes like 10 hrs to encode a 2 hr movie. Any tips on making this process a little faster other than using a lower res template?-- one more thing.. at best.. i can fit 2 hr with audio in 1 CD... awesome.
2. 528x480 template k3- dunt work on my dvd player... what gives? i figure this is the best.. good quality and doesnt take so long to encode.. any help is appreciated. When i play on dvd player.. it cuts off the bottom portion.. and the pix is in blocks.. sound works thou.
is there a replacement for the above template.. i dunt want to drop to 320x288.. if i dunt have to... I rather take quality than space. any help is appreciated.

Hi christian000,
Change the resolution on the KVCDx3 template from 528x480 to 544x480
Try it again

Open TMPEG and load the KVCDx3 template. Then click on "Settings" and then on "Size". You should see that it's set to 528 X 480. Change the 528 to 544. Save your template with the same name or another name.

Have you tried playing the file with WinDVD or PowerDVD?
If you have, and nothing works with 528 or 544 res, you could just use 480x480 or 704x480 instead.

So are you saying WinDVD or PowerDVD doesn't play your TMPGEnc created Mpeg files? Are you sure you're using MPEG 1 ?

Not sure if you're talking to me or christian000, but WinDVD and PowerDVD both play all my MPEG files perfectly...I just wasn't sure what exactly christian000 was asking....If you didn't mean me at all, then please ignore this post!

If i play my kvcd“s with WinDVD the video is OK, but there“s no sound.
I guess, these programs have problems with non-standard mpeg1

Not here
All my KVCDs play and sound fine on WinDVD or PowerDVD. However, audio is usually out of sync in WinDVD if it's VBR MPEG-1. But they all play fine on WMP and in sync.
