Following up my deinterlace question. Then if I do the deinterlacing with avisynth, should I uncheck Deinterlace in TMPGEnc? If you use a avs script does it automatically override the deinterlace filter, or any other filters, in TMPGEnc?

If you Deinterlace in AviSynth you should uncheck Deinterlacing in TMPGEnc. Not sure if it would matter though, as I've never actually done any deinterlacing...
