How to make KVCD from Only VOB files?
 

Please i wanna know how to set the settings to create a KVCD of 2 hours, with good quality, i wanna know which framerate is appropiate and also the GOP and audio settings.
another question is: only .vob---->.mpg is possible? i mean can i encode a mpeg2--->KVCD 704x480 ntscfilm?
please let me know.

If your DVD is NTSC, then most probably the internal frame rate is FILM.
What you do is open your VOB's with DVD2AVI, and press F5, and let it run for about a minute.
If you see something like 95% FILM in the statistics window, then you check the "Force FILM" mode. And you encode with the KVCD templates as they are. They are set to 23.976fps for FILM.
If it says NTSC, then you must select "None" instead of "Force FILM", and you must encode with the template changed to 29.97fps. You'll probably have to de-interlace too.
You can also encode mpeg-2's to KVCD's.
