now adding to the list of my problems again....when i extract the wav from my vids..cant play them on winamp...it says the file is equal to "0" even though it shows a file size and its also asking me for a mp3 acm codec...what the hell is that...holla

Hi SIRCOOKS,

Extract your audio using "Full processing mode" option on Vdub.

aiight, i jusy did that, and now its telling me "error initializing audio stream decompression...the requested conversion is not possible..check to mkae sure you have the required codec"

Can you play that avi and hear the audio correctly on WMP

yes i can play the file and hear the music, but i dont use wmp i use real player...whats next...the wav file wont owrk in winamp 2.81...but itll work in winamp 3? shouldi just uninstall the prog

I think you have a CODEC probem. Try installing the XviD CODECS. Get them here: http://www.roeder.goe.net/cgi-bin/fe...04102002-1.exe
