Hi all,

After running several test-burns for a while I still get avarage result burning PAL VCD from a DivX movie.

Using the "Matrix" DivX movie, one final run with the kvcd PAL template did give me a usable result, except for the fact that the sound was out of sync and/or crackled.
Burning the same movie with the standard vcd PAL template on 2 CDs works fine, although sometimes details in the movie show a bit scrambled.
(I'm using a Pioneer dv444 myself for playback)

So, I'm wondering if there's any special approach to get a better result (I read somewhere something about making adjustments for the dv444 when it comes to the sound).
And also (1): does 'tweaking' the result for my dv444 means that I won't be able to play back the movie on some other dvd player??
And also (2): Should one always save the sound-track as a seperate wav-file??

TIA,

Tom
