That's what I did!!
But I never watched that:

(1) Video Type........................ (2) Field Operation

NTSC at 5% or higher............ None (use decomb in your avs script)
FILM at 95% or lower............ None (use decomb in your avs script)
FILM only (implies 100%)..... Forced FILM
FILM at 96% or higher.......... Forced FILM

For what do I need that??

PS: If u dont mind would u show me ur script, ot might gonna work better!!

sorry, i don´t know what that means , but it seems to be important, so i quoted it. i live in pal-land, so it´s quite easy to create a d2v file.

my script?
Code:
LegalClip()
UnFilter(50, 50)
GripCrop(480, 576, source_anamorphic=false)
GripSize(resizer="BicubicResize")
TemporalSmoother(1, 2)
MergeChroma(blur(1.58))
MergeLuma(blur(0.3))
GripBorders()
LegalClip()

but that won´t solve your d2v problem

nearly every dvd player supports both formats, so check if you can switch between ntsc and pal with your dvd player.
if you can, there´s no need to convert to pal

hehe

then just try a fiew dvd2avi settings, until movistacker shows the whole movie time.
or load the d2v file in tmpgenc and scroll through the movie with "source range". if you can scroll till the end of the movie, it should work

Hi PLautzer,

You should load the .D2V file in moviestacker! (I think that is what you
properly did). I remember the time I was using Moviestacker v1.1, i got
the same problem: when i loaded the d2v-file moviestacker didn't show
the correct play-lenght. My only solution for this problem was to load
a view (4-5) times till it shows the correct time. But I never got this
strange behaviour using moviestacker 2.0b...

Drom where do I get the 2.0b version??
I load the .avs script in TMPGenc and looked in preview, I know now that the whole movie is there but even in the preview the quality is pretty bad.

Hey plautzer,

That's not a DVD problem, you have a CODEC problem
Either the MPEG2DEC.DLL or your AviSynth version
Make a quick test: Open your .d2v directly with TMPEG. Go to "Source Range" and scroll around. Does it look like that? Probably not
If it looks ok, load your .avs in VirtualDub and scroll around. Does it look like crap?
If it does, then the problem is related to AviSynth
Report back here with your results
