No audio whatso ever when multiplexing

I used this guide http://www.dvdrhelp.com/bbmpegedit.htm when multiplexing my movie. The mp2 file is fine as I am able to listen to it w/ no problems. But after multiplexing, there is no audio on either mpg files, both "audio" and "video" multiplexing are checked on general settings tab

The page is for svcd muxing, have you tried muxing it to a vcd?

gerrycurl21 04-30-2003 08:12 AM

but i want a svcd though

CheronAph 04-30-2003 09:38 AM

Try muxing it with TMPGEnc mpeg tools!

i have a 2.4 gb m2v file and a wav file, is there a way to cut it to 795mb in tmpeng or do i just guess by minutes?

CheronAph 05-01-2003 01:30 AM

Does it have to be 795 megs, if you cut away the end credits and itīs 780 megs, isnīt that ok? Why do you have a wav file, use headac3he to convert it to mp2! :)

gerrycurl21 05-01-2003 01:53 AM

headache doesnt reconize it "could not find data chunk" whenever i try loading it

CheronAph 05-01-2003 02:22 AM

Try besweet!

gerrycurl21 05-01-2003 08:55 AM

besweet only has LST files as source before converting

eg LST to WAV/MP3/MP2, and i dont even know what a LST file is anyway

Itīs right here,

after encode the audio do this:

using bbMPEG( v1.24beta 18 )... (svcd)
a good picture reference ...for VCD and SVCD too:
http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....a68b53ca2d4766
(tick SVCD, the remainder adjusts still the same as the picture!)

in "program stream settings" tab,
tick SVCD ,
untick "add svcd scan offsets" and "align sequence headers" .
in "forced mux rate" write 0 (zero).

in "input and output files" tab,
load in "open vs" your video file,
in "open as1" your audio file(.mp2)

ok and start.....

you will got it.

Try renaming it to .mp3, this sometimes happens when you extract audio with virtualdub but don't set the compression to "uncompressed".
