KVCD: how to fit a whole movie onto one 80min cd-r?

i need help. i use smart ripper to rip my movies and then i use dvdx to enocode to mpeg2 for svcd format. i want to know how to fit a whole movie onto one 80 min cdr and i was sent here from another video forum that has been very helpful. but as i'm not familiar with any of this it is making no sense. can anyone help me? e-mail me please as it would be easier to have direct contact. thanxx so much to anyone who can help me figure this out. :D

Well, the SVCD format should be the first to go... nearly all of us use mpeg-1 for our encodes. Check out the guides, they will make sense of our gibberish!! :D

Why use DVDx if you're ripping the DVD first anyway?
