i need help. i use smart ripper to rip my movies and then i use dvdx to enocode to mpeg2 for svcd format. i want to know how to fit a whole movie onto one 80 min cdr and i was sent here from another video forum that has been very helpful. but as i'm not familiar with any of this it is making no sense. can anyone help me? e-mail me please as it would be easier to have direct contact. thanxx so much to anyone who can help me figure this out.

Well, the SVCD format should be the first to go... nearly all of us use mpeg-1 for our encodes. Check out the guides, they will make sense of our gibberish!!

i tried mpeg1 format and i had horrible quality.

You haven't tried KVCD's using MPEG-1 yet though...you're in for a treat!

KVCD Compatibility Test CD image,
burn in cdrw and see what your player suport
and what is your choice,ok?

go ahead,we are waiting your answer after the test.

Why use DVDx if you're ripping the DVD first anyway?
