home page here http://members.cox.net/beyeler/bbmpeg.html dvd2svcd uses it in batchmode, probably the best way to learn would be to use dvd2svcd and check the logs to see how it works. |
:)
yes "tec" friend. this is what i was trying to "say". ahm...my poor english?!?!?! thanks! |
Thanks for the reply Urban Tec.
I take it that usinf is a file that contains the settings for bbmpeg? You wouldn't happen to have a sample of that file? I was hoping to avoid having to use dvd2svcd as I am not working with svcd's. Any additional info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
part of your answer is in the first thread:
http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....a43c6aa6887f07 use like the picture for svcd too :!: |

You can use dvd2svcd for vcd too, if you install it and create one vcd you will have enough info in all the ini files it creates to learn how to use bbmpeg from a command line. |
okay, I have to admit that I'm really lazy... and I find dvd2svcd a really complicated program, and I really would rather not spend the time to learn it in order to do what I actually want (which is to run bbmpeg2 in batch mode). Is there not just a simple command line mode for this, like headac3he (which I finally learned how to use in batch!)? If someone could just post here what one should type in or something, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi J-Wo..
In fact, I'm working on one right this minute. I've ben at it for a few weeks now, but am getting some assistance. EDIT: for further interests, please see: * SLIM-G v0.0.1 - ...coming soon. A bbmpeg gui spin-off !! Apparently, it's not as straightforward as besweet. Lot more to it, and its a pain in the azz - really !! (well, to me its ben such) It's almost ready, just needs to be working hehe.. that why the version no's are all ZERO's 8O Hay, I didn't know headAC3 could be command-line driven  But, it doesn't do what bbMPEG does - MUX !! Why I want to create such an app ?? Because I do LOTS of quick encodes to .m2v files and something real quick and simple is all I need to get things MUXed. bbmpeg does the muxing job VERY well, but is TOO combersome and just has too many steps to perform. What I need, is something that basically is just a CLICK away, if I use the same file over and over again. That's where my app comes in. Course, there will undoubtly be some changes in its uses/userfriendlyness/features, but, I'm only just starting this, and I'm sure it will take off to other features. It's really just a tiny quicky for me, but I"m starting to believe that other people are in my boat too  So, we shall see. If you're still interested in the above app, great! Thanks for listing :) -vhelp |

path bbmpeg to Windows XP
Hello:
I'm sorry for my bad English. Yes, I want the path (bbmpeg to Windows XP). I don't find it because the web pages where I go always say: "server no found" or "page no found". Everywhere is the same: "page no found". And I can't start the bbmpeg on my Windows XP. I will try this address you gave me. Thank you Ncarlo |
Click on the link given by prodater in his last message, juste above yours. It's working.
|
path bbmpeg
I got to catch the file.
Thank you very much to all. Ncarlo |
