dvdrip xvid conversion has no audio?
 

Hi i downloaded star trek nemesis dvdrip xvid but when i play it with power dvd and windows media player there is no sound but if i play it with videolan there is sound what i want to know is how will i convert it to svcd when tmpgenc does'nt recognise the sound in the avi file any help would be very nice ty.

This release has ac3 soundtrack so powerdvd should play it but if you are having problems try installing the ac3 filter on the downloads page at doom9.org, it is under filters and you will need to click show all filters to see the link.

PowerDVD can play XviD? 8O

Of course as long as you have xvid codec installed, its just an avi file after all.
