I have the Pioneer DV-444 which doesn't like low bitrates under 650 kBit very much when playing (s)vcd.

Do I have to make this setting in the kdvd templates, too? Or does the player interprate the dvd stream in another way?

Can somebody please tell me the right bitrate settings for the pioneer dv-444 on kdvd template?

Thanks,

Hi Jack,

I think you can use the templates just as they are, but change the encoding to MPEG-2 instead of MPEG-1
Give that a try
