KVCD: Should I go for 544x480 and encode with a smaller CQ value?

Hey friends 8)

I have a ripped DivX movie who has a resolution of 608x256 NTSC. Should I go for 544x480 and encode with a smaller CQ value, or should I choose 528x480 NTSC and encode with a little higher CQ value. What will be the best thing to choose in my case?

Take 528 + CQ cause the difference in resolution to the eye is none. :D

I also using letterbox 0,0,32,32 when using 544x480 and it's so close that I nearly can see black boarders on the sides so should I do anything with my letterbox line if I change to 528x480 :)
