TMPGEnc: Audio out of synch after kvcd encoding

Hey guys, I'm new to kvcd and I am using Black Prince's guide following it to the letter, however my mpg file is out of synch, I've tried several .avi files with same results. I have only tried KVCD_352x240_PLUS and KVCD_352x480_PLUS but with the same results. This is my last script:

LoadPlugin("E:\Downloads\DIVx\Movie Stacker\MovieStacker_v1.1.1\MovieStacker\Filters\M PEG2Dec.dll")
LoadPlugin("E:\Downloads\DIVx\Movie Stacker\MovieStacker_v1.1.1\MovieStacker\Filters\T emporalCleanerOld.dll")
LoadPlugin("E:\Downloads\DIVx\Movie Stacker\MovieStacker_v1.1.1\MovieStacker\Filters\G ripFit_preview.dll")
LoadPlugin("E:\Downloads\DIVx\Movie Stacker\MovieStacker_v1.1.1\MovieStacker\Filters\B lockBuster.dll")
LoadPlugin("E:\Downloads\DIVx\Movie Stacker\MovieStacker_v1.1.1\MovieStacker\Filters\D ustV5.dll")
LoadPlugin("E:\Downloads\DIVx\Movie Stacker\MovieStacker_v1.1.1\MovieStacker\Filters\L egalClip.dll")

AviSource("M:\My Movie.avi")
LegalClip()
GripCrop(352, 288, overscan=1, source_anamorphic=false)
GripSize(resizer="LanczosResize")
PixieDust()
TemporalCleaner()
BlockBuster(method="noise", detail_max=7, seed=1)
GripBorders()
LegalClip()

Hi ashnak-ah,first of all welcome.You should download the compatiblity test here http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....c04ad93d6b9f4c

Not all dvd players can play them

well there is a udio delay function in tmpgenc in source range now if the audio is ahead of the video u put in a value with a - i.e. -234 and if its behind the video then u just enter a number like 234 I find either -600 or 600 always fixes the audio for me.

You have to give us some information about the source file... Is it DivX, XVid? what framerate is it? what kind of audio does it have ? VBR MP3?
:wink:

Thanks to all.
bigggt: I haven't burnt it yet and BTW my DVD player is indeed compatible.
andybno1: How do I know what value to use, trial & error? :cry:
Jellygoose: I've only tried DivX NTSC with VBR MP3.
