Last night I used DVD2SVCD to encode with the KVCD matrix. I selected VCD in bbmpeg and the Misc tab. I set everything up correctly and used the optimal script.

Here is the problem. VCDEasy reports that the file is MPEG1, but wants to autopad it when burning because of misalligned packets.

TMGEnc report the file as MPEG2 and Virtual Dub says it can't open it because it is an MPEG2 stream. What's going on here? I know my setting were correct, because I used DVD2SVCD alot in the past, and VCDEasy has never given me a false analysis before.

Any ideas? Why would the file be MPEG2 when I explicitly chose the mpeg1 options.
