Hi EnNiS,

Go to the main page at www.kvcd.net and look on the right side under "Articles". There you'll find many guides that you can take a look at. You can start by looking at the guide "KVCD from scratch".

aiight thanx
yeh cuz i normally download the divx/dvd rip, movies off of kazaa, and i got another problem
My Apex AD1500 plays some, not all, but most VCD's weird.
It will play the video for a certain amount of time totally fine, then the VIDEO will be almost like a jerky fastforward motion for about 15-30 seconds, while the AUDIO remains steady, afterwards the video somehow aligns itself with the audio. very weird.
Whats weirder is that not all VCDs do it.
Even wierder is that my Toshiba player plays them fine.

here are the variable i have narrowed it down to.
-Sometimes I use Nero, others I used Roxio EZ CD Creator 5
-I have always used TMPGEnc to encode, but the settings i change are the VBV Buffer size (i dont think this si it), sometimes 40, sometimes 0. I also have changed the framerate (very possibley affecting it), the motion search percison, i use Normal, sometimes i use high/low (also dont think this is it). I also change the Feild order, from Bottom Field First (fieldB) to Top Field First (field A). I change these back and forth, trying to determine if they affected it, i cannot conlcude.

can someone please help
the player plays DVDs fine, just not Xvcd, and VCD. I always have people over and play movies, it ruins the movie if the video is skewed etc.

thank you for your time

p.s. i am willing to do almost anything to fix, that is if it is free and wont require me to buy any tools.

this happened when using noraml vcd's and non standard xvcds so u think kvcd will be the same
?
and u got any suggestins
