Audio won't decode from VOB files
It seems strange to me that when I play the VoB files in the software player that the audio track is fine, but it won't decode (or demux) in Dvd2avi. I get only the first 8 minutes or so. Video portion is complete.
There is only one audio track according to the stream information. Maybe it's this particular DVD??? But I would sure like to be able to get that audio track... Maybe everybody is out of ideas? |
Use MPEG Mediator to extract to WAV from your VOBs. Then encode with HeadAC3he.

Used MPEG Mediator to decode the VOB files to WAV. Resulting file was 2.35 GB, a bit suspicious. And in Headac3he, the length was listed as 3:56:08:582, about twice as long as the movie. The encoded mp2 file was 387 MB and when I played it, most was silent/blank, with only bits and pieces of it scattered through the silence.

I hope this helps, as it worked for me. 100571 |
