Is there a programm with whom I can calculate the CQ (and so on)

after inputting the max. length of a movie? (and the playtime?)

Short answer, no! CQ mode can't be calculated. But then you get the best quality

If you are converting divx just use the windows integrated calculator. Just encode 2% of the movie and divide the mb by 2 and multiply by 100. I have encoded my last 6 divx movies this way with my calculations being out by 5 - 20mb maximum. I havent tried it with dvd backups but if it works i will leave a post.
