I've made a few KVCD movies that work FANTASTIC using the KVCD-LBR-352x288-_PAL_-PLUS_CQ.mcf template on my RCA-5240P. My question is why when I view the *.MPG on WMP it shows the TOTAL time of the movie to be only 16Min-40Sec and the file size is 540Mb. The actual movie is approx. 1hr-45min.

THANKS.....

PS. I cranked up the CQ to 70 with no problems for those using this PLAYER.

only kidding my friend!

see:
my 2 dvdplayers show less time than normal and
some players in my pc shows the same error too.
the reason is the vbr encoded, i think.

wmplayer classic can show the exact time.
is really cool and free

DVD players are designed to show:

-For VCD, 74 o 80 minutes.
-For VCD, about 40 minutes.

When you make a KVCD, you fit a -for example- 100 minutes movie in one 80 min CD. So, when your player shows 40 minutes, really is playing about the 50th min. of the movie.

greetings
