BRIEF HELP DOCUMENT:
----------------------------------------
* Create a Folder "c:\bbmpeg" and dump all the files into it.
* All you do is supply your m1v/m2v and .mp2 files and SLIM-G
..will MUX them together, to whatever spec you select under the MUXing
tab.

* "bbmpeg.GID" is a HIDDEN file and is a mystery to me at this time.

IDEAS/SUGGESTIONS:
----------------------------
* Please bring in any. Just remember, this is a GUI (or shell) for bbmpeg's
..MUXing.

My reason behind all this...
I started out looking for a way to create a simple, yet quicky gui or command-line
tool to MUX my .m2v and .mp2 files that I create in TMPG. I needed to have
something that would, at the click of a button, MUX my files, w/out having
to resort to the combersome steps of clicking and opening and waiting for..
only to keep wishing there were an easier way. I just wanted something
that I could have right beside TMPG while I do lots of short encoding tests..
Kwag will probably benefit this little tool, I'm sure. Specially, when
he/you just don't wanna have ta think about another click, locatoin, filename,
etc. etc. Just finish the encode ie, .m2v or .m1v, and click the MUX button
in my tool, and pretty much away you go.. MUX w/ a push of a button.
Anyways..

I know, I know.. there are lots of similar tools like this, but one, this is
my own, and two, it's unique, and three, can be customised to meet most us
users here on this FORUM (and others too) at any given moment. FWIW !!

As always, I hope I haven't left anything important out.
Have fun and Enjoy.

NOTE: I'm working on a help document. But, I'd like to implement a
.HLP type help structure, but I haven't ben able to research weather or not it would be something simple to do. Suggestions anybody ??

Special thanks to TFM_TheMask for his assist in the bbmpeg syntax
of things..

Although I had planned on something very tiny and for my own use, I am
now at a point where I'm incorporating other features and things.

Note, I modified this post for space reasons. Thank you for your understanding,

Update... v0.0.5

Hi all.

There's still more work to be done before I hit v1.0.0 mark.
Like Presets and things. Getting close to completion.

For now, please continue to enjoy DVD muxing. I will aim for other
MUXing formats ie, VCD, SVCD and kVCD and variants soon. If you
could just hang in their for a little while longer.

Well, it's just some things to play with until then.

See top of this page for:
* D/L links
* Update infomation (changes, revisions, etc)

Thanks, and enjoy,

Hi,

Well, more things fixed and/or added etc. You'll now notice that I've added
in support for (in addition to DVD) kVCD MUXing. But, it needs to be tested
for compliance. That is, kVCD'wise. Based on my last brief discussion w/
Kwag I incorporated the specs into the settings defination. VCD and
SVCD will follow shortly afterwards.

So, if you feel like it, then please do test, to verify that the MUXing process
does match the same as if you had done it directly through bbMPEG's interface.
Please let me know.. The .mpg's should match, file for file, OR, bitrate view (BV) !!

Thank you for your support in this project,

Anyway time pal. (for the buttons)
I'm glad that it's working (so far) - Later, i'm going to stream-line it into a
cool-bar or toolbar or something.. the way I had intended it to be in the first place! I plan to have all the formats ready by weekend start.

Question, is there a bbMPEG mux setting for kSVCD ?? Thanks,

Latest version v0.0.7

Thanks again Jorel.

I'm working on another app right now.. sort of a break away from SLIM-G

But, I'll be back to do some finishing touches to the other MUXing specs.
ie, VCD/SVCD etc. and to add in your ksVCD too.. Marking it as the
officia Version 1.0 (if all goes well)

As you might know, the latest version incorporates a LOG features, which
includes:
* Line numbers in LOG output, and
* Coping to ClipBoard

Later on, I'll provide a MUCH cleaner output (LOG listing) hopefully in a
more FLOW/PARAgraph'ical look. Maybe using RichEdit or something too.
And, hopefully, either a Coolbar/Toolbar feature by Verion 1.0

Sounds good ?? Anyways..

I'm glad you're having fun w/ SLIM-G !!

Sorry Jorel.. I took a nap (I ate very heave - spegette) makes me
very sleepy, hehe..

I'm working on an calc.. thanks to some help w/ razor..
Ben working on it all day though. And, as I've said elsewhere's, I'm ben
meaning to release it (and others) to vcdhelp's new "add new tool" section.
Ben meaning to give that a try.. if I ever get vcalc.exe at a satisfaction
point. Kwag will be incorporting his own version (variation) to his
CQM app soon. So, I guess it would be interesting to see how they both
stack up (based on similar calculations) The tool is a little more advaced
though. Not something too simple or basic. I want others to have as much
flexibility, options and control when they play
I've ben calling it vcalc cause I can't come up w/ a decent name, and that
name seems to be used by lots (google.com) but I may end up keeping it
if I can't come up with anything "orginal". Any suggests ??

I've alerady got a sneak-peak posted, but I'll start an new thread on it.
Just another tool for the shed.

Look for a thread soon
