Well, after hearing the success stories about the new templates and avisynth and not being able to use them because of the solarization problem I finally found the thread that fixed it. Was so happy could **** and couldn't wait to get home and run it on my Pansonic player.
Picture looked great but now the movie is dragging and skipping. You can easily tell the pitch of the voices are lower than the original movie, Black Hawk Down to be exact. What the hell happened? My frustration factor is through the roof on this one. I used the default settings for kvcdx2 704x480 with 16x9 input source. Still had to burn to 2 disks (700mg and 600mg) but I think it's just the movie since there is a lot of action. At least the sound is in sync with the film but the skipping every 2 sec and the lower pitch has me puzzled

Also ripped to dvd2avi project, loaded fitcd, generated the avs and loaded to tmpeng the loaded the template.

Anyone else come across this?
