Bitrates: a Few Questions about CQmatic and Avalon's Guide

The links to download the LAME and other stuff on your site are down. I searched and downloaded them from sourceforge, but they are not executables only source code so I can't get the first step to work.

Also, do i need to use wav audio or can I use the MP2 i encoded with HeadAC3E?

Lastly, What is AVISynthSwitcher? Do I need this since I only have 2.52 on my system?

Sorry. I forgot to upload all files. They should be up now...

Yes You can use Your MP2-File. I must write for manually muxing the addon into the Guide.

AviSynthswitcher is only a Program to switch between the version 2.0.8 and 2.5.2. You only need it if you work with both versions...

I edit now the guide:

Adding HeadAC3he encoding (the better way I think...)
Adding muxing with bbMPEG

That is precisely what I was asking in another thread. I guess that the other question that remains is the possibilities of using DTS audio, I know that one disadvantage is the size of it, but is it possible to do?

Using it as source ? Yes it's possible. You have to convert it in mp2 with aziddts.

Puting DTS sound onto a KVCD ? No, its'nt possible.

@ Avalon - I'm trying your DVD 2 KVCD guide using DVD2SVCD and was wondering were in the DVD2SVCD.INI I could add colorYUY(Autogain=True) ?
Should I just put it between Gripresize and Undot()?

Ok, sorry, I posted in the other thread now for you to respond. I just noticed your guides today, seems great. Do you recommend using the Motion estimate search (fast)?
