I've been coming to these forums for only the past week, pouring over the many documents and guides, downloading filters and programs and finally have been able to convert a movie to KVCD format with success.

I'm really astounded by the results.

I had to play around with the scripting (for some reason GripFit wasn't working right for me) and kwag's kvcd-lbr.ini file for DVD2SVCD to get things on track, but now that I have, I'm confident that I can produce moderate quality KVCDs in a more timely manner (One per day, as opposed to one in a week )

So, I want to say thank you to all those that have posted (both with problems and solutions) and to those that have written guides. Without those and a bit of patience, I never would have gotten this far.

Thanks for this.

I'll add a followup thanks. Without the people on this board, I never would have gotten Motion Adaptive filtering working on my DVD backips. But, now that I have, the results are stunning. Sometimes unpredictble, but always good

I'm trying to take the "un" away, so it becomes "All times predictable"
