I am doing my first DVD-KVCD(LOTR-TTT).I did some test samples and could have fit this 179 min movie onto 2 disc but decided to go with a higher quality to 3 discs.I did a test with SVCD.It would have taken 3-4 disc for a low quality and about 5-6 for a high quality SVCD(2520 Bit Rate.)
My only quirk is the encoding time,20 hours for LOTR-TTT,but I need more Ram for my computer so that most likely is the culprit.
The quality of the rip to 3 discs is amazing.Same as If I had done an SVCD.I did a test sample at 100 and it would have fit easily on 4 discs and the quality was the closes thing I have ever seen to DVD quality.
I'm suprised that you have given alot of your time, here helping out and programming the templates and other programs, yet don't charge one single cent for it.
Thank you so much for this awesome format. You have converted me from SVCD to KVCD and I will never go back.
AMAZING!!!!
