I've heard something about a patch for CCE which lets you patch in different matrixes and GOP structures - would this let you use the KDVD or KVCD templates in CCE with some work involved? Anyone know where to find it?

This would be pretty slick, as being able to put in your own matrix/gop is the only thing preventing the Kwag templates from working 100% in CCE (for mpeg2/svcd). The jury is still out, however, on whether this actually would give better quality than just doing it in mpeg1/vcd format in the first place though. The biggest advantage is you get the boost in speed (CCE is reportedly quite a bit faster than TMPGEnc).

(NOTE: Don't use CCE for mpeg1.)
