Kwag, i'm stuck :
I have processed the same source, with the same settings on two differenct PC's. The only things that could be different, are the Avisynth version and/or the Mpeg2Source-plugin
Thats the log on the other machine:

@ Krassi...
better is stay with "the matrix".
have big size time and is one good reference....
"everybody" but me have this movie too!

think how the posts will be strange with Disney's....like:
"hey,dumbo is hard to encode,is heavy and break the system....or
pinochio nose seems "strange"....or
in white as snow...hey it's anamorphic?...the dwarfs are small."
things like that.

@jorel:

I love the "Lebkuchenmann" (is gingebread-man right?) in Shrek when he squeals the muffin-man

@Kwag:
I'm doing a prediction right now with 1.1.04
I can compare my Avisynth-versions this evening.

Maybe its not translated right into german. Its the part where the king?? is torturing the gingerbread-man with milk and wants to take away his drops Then he reveals the secret

EDIT: Just found it:
Code:
Lord Farquaad: Tell me where the creatures are!
Gingerbread Man: All right, I'll tell you. Do you know the muffin man?
Lord Farquaad: The muffin man?
Gingerbread Man: The muffin man.
Lord Farquaad: Why yes, I know the muffin man. The one who lives on Drury Lane?
Gingerbread Man: Wellshe's married tothe muffin man.
Lord Farquaad: The muffin man?
Gingerbread Man: The muffin man!!

I've just played around with the average bitrate. I've used valc 0.0.5 to get the average bitrate. Moviestacker suggested a value of 726 kbps, vcalc 717.
Then i've set MS Precision to 0.71 and here are the encoding results (712 kbps)

Thats the best prediction i ever had.
@Kwag:
Maybe you could implement the bitrate calculator before version 2 or release version 2 now

I think the prediction problems aren't coming from CQMatic
Maybe we should take a look at calculation of the average bitrate.

Was there something different MIN, MAX
There shouldn't be any difference with the same settings from 1.1.07 to 1.1.08b
You should get about the same CQ, but only two decimal points instead of four on the latest version.

I changed Min. bitrate to 400 and gave CQMatic another average bitrate (702 instead of 712).
I've seen your calculation of Bitrate and min bitrate in another post and tried it.

@Krassi,

Could you try identical MIN, MAX and average with 1.1.07 and 1.1.08b, and see if you get a different CQ
There shouldn't be a difference
