KVCD: get the best quality out of their divx and xvid files?

Hi maybe we should post here on what everyone is using to get the best quality out of their divx files. For example, what version of avisynth are you using and post your script and what prediction method you are using and how it is working.

Since CQMatic is on hold for us with divx files we should see what works the best for us.

JUst a thought :D

I apologize if this is in the wrong spot(wasn't sure were to put it)

If you are willing to go for high quality 2 cd encodes and your movie length is about 90 to 100 minutes you can use CBR for spot on accuracy. Once the difference between your average bitrate and your max bitrate is 200kbps or less VBR does not really make much sense and in many instances may be of a lower quality.

In an other way, I don't really see the need of using KVCD if you plan to put a 90min movie on 2 CD. SVCD already did it very well. The interest of KVCD is to put this film on one CD ;-)

Standard SVCD cannot give DVD quality, at least not when viewed on a large screen, KVCD can.
