The question is : why can't you use it "as usual" ? Does'nt CQMatic just rely on a tmpgenc project whatever the settings into this project are ?

"output YUV data as basic YCbCr not CCIR601"
in the "quantise matrix" tab but
after use CQMatic this option is checked

this is my doubt Phil.

and i need recomendations for GOP values to encode Disney's ntsc too!

Whoaow, that's strange !
We just discuss about this setting, so are you sure that you don't check it yesterday and forgot to remove it ?

I think that the recomandations at the bottom of the "latest scripts" page are still valid.

For Anime/Cartoon material:
Same as DVD clean material, but shorten the GOP to 12 frames (PAL) or 15 (NTSC)

oh thanks friend Phil!

i don't "check" but i do the project again to remove doubts!
i post the result in few minutes.

i forgot (and i have the page saved) the adjusts for ntsc cartoon/animes.
i have more than 1 gb of pages saved and sometimes i forgot
where are the things that i need.
believe,i read too much Phil but learn in "slow motion"!

means:
1, 5823, 2, 1, 15 for ntsc?...this is my doubt,not only the last "15"!

thanks!

Phil,
the result re doing the project:

no more checked the "output YUV....", is uncheked after the prediction
but
"output bitstream for edit (closed GOP) " is checked
in the "GOP structure" tab.....
and i reset (did all again) the project and don't check it!

my doubt remains about GOP for ntsc animes/cartoons:
1, 5823, 2, 1, 15

thank you Phil (tyP)

Hi jorel,

Yes, I left that option checked, because I use closed GOP during prediction. Forgot to turn it back off
But it shouldn't really make that much difference in file size anyway, but I'll turn it off again in 1.1.03.
