Hi guys,I made lots of KVCD using Tmpeg kvcdx2 and kvcdx3 templates.
My standalone player AKAI read most of my burned kvcd but sometimes I had a kvcd with blocks and noise.
I try to explain me better: usually my burned KVCD (both 704x576 & 528x576) are fully compatible with my dvd player but sometimes it seems that I'm not able to get a good working kvcd.
Video has lots of blocks and noise and I'm tring to understand where is the problem.
I thought it was a too high bitrate on higher resolution problem but I made some tests and I checked it's not a bitrate problem.
Can U give me more suggesstions to help me about?

THX

TI

Hi TI,

704x576 & 528x576 are very high resolutions for ~2 hour movies. Use 528x576 on ~2 hour movies, only with the Motion Adaptive script.
704x576 would be good for ~90 minutes of low to medium action films.

I made some tests, I uninstalled AvySynth 2.08 and Used 2.52 version with script on "optimal script" forum section.
My movie is very static (CQMatic suggested me 89,314 value for 2 cd)

Unfortunately I continue having bad video with lots of blocks and a double image problems.
I'm sure my DVD player accept high resolution because of I made some tests without problems and uesd the kvcd disc test.

I'd really like to know how can I solve this problem!

I tried to encode some clips of my dvd video (an italian movie) using different high resolution

1. 528x576: doesn't work
2. 528x480: works
3. 704x576: doesn't work
4. 704x480: doesn't work

So it seems to be a resolution problem...but I'd like to understand why I haven't this problem with all my previous encoded video.
This problem appears in 20% of my encoded video and particular affects DVD source (less with AVI sources).
