Can anyone help me with ripping Episodes off of a box set? I have the complete set of Angel and need to give it back in a few days. I have tried it in smartripper 2.41 but cannot get it to rip more than 30 mins of the first episode. Any help would be much appreciated.
Oh, did i say rip, i meant backup.

Thats the way that I tried it, but it ended up with a lot of files each with roughly half an episode. The problem then is joining them. So surely there is a way to take each episode off seperately. I had been reccomended to use dvdx to take the episodes off 1 by 1, but thats got to be the worst program i have ever used.

hey 8210,

so you ended up with a bunch of VTS*.VOB files right? Load them all into DVD2AVI (usually you just have to put in the first one and it will auto load the rest). It will join them all together. Or you can manually select which VOBs you want to load and you can create seperate project files for each episode.

I'll give it another go, I had'nt actually thought to load specific .vob files into avi2vcd, and I didn't want all the episodes in one large encode. Thank for the tip.
