Guys, I have a neighbor who is interested in KVCD, and his RCA DVD player does great with the video, but the audio has an occasional high pitched digital scraping noise (not at all consistent). Any ideas?

Tanks,

Reno

Hi Reno,

That sounds familiar
If the audio was encoded as "Surround 2", make sure it was encoded as "Dual Channel" and not as "Stereo".

Hi there...

For me it's the exact opposite...
My receiver seems to hate "Dual Channel" for some reason, and I have to encode everything in "Stereo", or I get distorted rear channels... very disturbing...
