Is there a difference in audioquality(no skipping) between remuxing to svcd with tempgenc or with bbmpeg?

Has anyone managed to get bbmpg to work in windows xp? Everytime i select the open vs button the program crashes! It's really starting to annoy me now and I havent been able to find any forums with answers or remedies. If anyone can help then please do.

yes, i had no problem using it. it worked on the first try.

It's a nasty bbmpeg bug
Do the following. Instead of clicking the vs, do an "add" mpeg. Just choose any small mpeg file. Then "remove" the file from the list.
Now you can open your video and audio source. There was a patch for this at digital-digest.com, but it's not online anymore.

I found on-line a possible bug solution awhile back... So, I copied it to a txt file and snooping around in my docs just now...I found it: I always follow this, and I've never had a problem. A simple step to do...Hope it helps for XP'rs...
