Should I use CQ or CQ_VBR for 352x240 encode?

Which one will give me the best quality? I think I read somewhere that CQ_VBR is best for 352x240 (VCD resolution), but maybe I'm wrong... Please enlighten me.

oh thanks too, i don't knew this!

CQ_VBR is exclusive for 352x240?
...and encode using motion estimate (ME) too?

:?:

I made two samples in VCD-Resolution! One in CQ-Mode and one in CQ_VBR and I don't think that CQ_VBR is better! I testet this with a 146Min Video and CQ is even much better!

Have I made something wrong??? :bigooh:

Probably yes :D
CQ_VBR is best for 352x240(288). Over that, CQ is better.
Also, Blockbuster is useless above 352x480, and completely innefective in CQ mode.
All tests and results were done here: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2073
