Well,
I just wanted to clear up the CCE issue, now that everybody has calmed down. I never had any contact with Jim's guide. If I had I would have given credits to him in my guide. I have no reason for not doing that, if you look at my guide you'll see credits given to lots of people, right now I remember the name of 5 people I am sure I mention in the guide.
It seems, based on post dates, that Jim had the idea to create distributable Registry templates for CCE about a week earlier than me. But his template is completelly different from mine, as new_bee pointed out. I also would like to add that the first version of my guide was just a 10-steps with a Registry template. So, I see no problem here. All this based in post date comparisson.
About the KVCD vs MVCD issue (sorry but I have to put my oppinion, I hope people don't get back to the fight). What Mole did in the past was wrong, and he didn't act like that in innocence. He wanted to get fame using somebodyelse's work instead of giving credits or maybe doing his own work alone. He did this on porpuse, and if somebody on KVCD.NET hadn't found out back in that time, it would be still happening. So you can say: "Now he regrets his sins and wants to be a nice guy". Hard to belive.
But I see that many of you, new MVCD people like Roc, have nothing to do with this issue, since you came later. Roc, let's say you decide to create you own templates and leave MVCD, something like RocVCD. Just an hypotesis. Do you think, based on past attitutes, that Mole will keep your credits, or perhaps he will call your matrix "his matrix"? Why don't you and other people with good knowledge don't just dump Mole and create a new and clean standard (CleanVCD, perhaps
) or even better, join us. Just a thought.
And just to finish: @Jim, you have no need to call me names. This is worth nothing, and also offends me. I hope you learn some education next time you post.
