Who's using KVCD/KDVD for commercial use?

Post your information, and let the word spread out ;)

From a friend who just called me on the phone :)
Thanks Jose ;)

Digital Stream Post. San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Using KDVD to encode television commercials, and sending DVD samples to their customers. Also using KVCD encoded MPEG-1 (low bit rates) to stream samples to their customers via the Internet, for production approvals"

i am using them to deploy recordings of weddings and "quinceañeras" (15 year old girls get a big party here in mexico)

so far i have had no problems except with 2 clients that dont have a player that supports them , for one of them i had to use a cdrw (it was a sony) and for the other i just had to do regular vcd :(

also another customer did see the video and audio with no problem at all except at the ending of the clip video started speeding up so i had to do a regular vcd also for this one.

 If you deploy as "KDVD", you won't have any compatibility problems :!:

you mean in dvdr's or minidvd in a cdr?

well this is what i do in my spare time not full time job, i dont have a dvdr yet, thx for the advice. btw even dvdrs are not 100% compatible, my player doesnt like dvd+r some ppl have ones that dont like some dvdr media etc etc, ive seen a lot of people get a lot of incomkpatibility between media brand and dvd-r or +r recordings so i think thats why i have not seen that as a solution i guess ill have to live with it.

Yes, in DVD-R or DVD+R.

True. I would simply use DVD-R, because it's more compatible.

I just found out, "WinAVI Video converter" is using KVCD as one of the output options available under DVD.
