Welcome krisgpindel
No, there's no easy way. And as the title says: "Advanced Video Conversion", that's KVCD
Take your time, don't rush it, and you'll get the hang of it in no time
Go to the main page at www.kvcd.net and look at some of the guides, specially the guide "KVCD from Scratch". Start there

After pestering you people with a number of questions earlier on I managed to get DVD2SVCD working reliably with your posted matrices.ini and kvcd_lbr.ini and an adaptive filter script. And that works just fine given my essentially lazy attitude Since finding out that I can put raw mpegs (of almost any kind; haven't found any yet that don't work) on DVD-R), I've given up trying to figure out adaptive filtering with AVI > KVCD though.

I'm almost afarid to move out of 'the zone' now that everything is working so reliably.

Again, I have to thank you Kwag, for there is something very nice about being able to put a 180 minute DVD on a 700 meg CDR!

Tom
