I'm having the same problem as this post http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5812
When I go into Movie Stacker and load my d2v theratio comes up 720x480.Than I go to options and load up the preset 352x480.Now my script says crop 720x480,do I change this? When I don't change this and go into TMPgenc I load up my script then go to the 352x480 KVCD Template. When I start converting this it looks like it is cropped wrong. The right hand side has some letting chopped off.
Also my DVD player is a Phillips 623 and same as the post above it plays the first three video sample fine. The next 2 samples the audio is jerky. The last sample doesn't play at all.I'm figuring that there must be some way to get it to play smoother without jerkiness. If i load the 352x480 kvcd template can I change the mpeg-1,in TMpgenc to mpeg-2.Or should I encode it as mpeg-1 and mux it as an SVCD?
I'm just so lost right now.Especially with the croppping thing.

So Do I change this resolution?Or just load up the preset I want?
Also this thread:http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=40290
Now with incredibles recommendations do I load up a mpeg-2 KVCD template, change the settings, save it with TMPgenc, open up this save in tok then run it?Mux it as an SVCD,vceasy it as an svcd, burn it and try it out?
The only problem is that when I do change the resolution to 480x480 in TMPGenc it crops all weird.Could it be that I didn't change it properly in Moviestacker?

Jus one more thing. If I was to do a movie, compress it to one cd using the KVCD cq 352x240 with the quality suck, set cq at 100,or with the quality be pretty good?
I'm at work right now that's why I am asking so many questions, can't test it at the moment.

It is sunday and You working? What a job? I think You want to encode DVDs to KVCD, right?

Which version of Moviestacker do you use?
I think your source is a d2v created with DVD2AVI 1.76, if not get this version.

Next You load it in Moviestacker. In Version 2.00 beta 3 You can chose the resolution in the first page. If Your movie is 4:3 take anamorphic out and mark UseCripFit.

Full Size

Full Size

Try using the resolution 704x480. Thats the resolution I use with my DCD-Video-Template. I never had problems like You.

Normaly if u chose in Moviestacker the KVCD-profile the right filters will be added to your script.

Try out the MA-Script. Read my Guide for CQMatic. There I described how to edit the MA-Script for Your case.
