My first question is does your version support all versions of Linux meaning versions that don't need to modify the hard drive like knoppixhttp://www.knoppix.net/ or NetBSD/i386http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/i386/ cause if so that would be great so I can just run the CD when I want without have to delete or install. Also since it uses Linux does this mean this program will or does support 64bit processors (since Athlon 64 is coming very soon .

By the way this is great since there is a freeware program to encode videos and is very portable (good by Microsoft).

Good job Japie

It's nearly a script using other tools, so if these tools are avaiable on your distro (cd-based or whatever) and you have write access to some medium to store the file the OS doesn't mather.
As long as the script can find: bash, mjpegtools and mplayer it will work. For kvcd it will need mjpegtools-1.6.1.90 and in the future it will use ffmpeg, mpgtx and transcode too...
