Perm subs + DVD2SVCD + Avi/Divx conversion

I have two .srt files and two .avi files.

How to get perm subs in my SKVCD ?

I am still using D2S 113 build2 beta 7 using the latest .ini.

Should I first update to latest version of D2S ? (read something about it in another thread).

Yes you should upgrade. And if you take the last optimal script I gave for D2S you have to remove the line 8 in Divx_filter script (and 12 in MA script if you plan to use it) because they cause the subtitles to not appear.

The scripts are here :

I can't download the new version of D2S from this link http://www.dvd2dvd.org/D2S121B1a.rar. (Even when I bypass internet download manager).

Can anybody post it somewhere please ?

Now I wonder how to check / correct sync problems for .srt sub files. (when plalying the avi with the .srt sub file, the subs seem out of sync).

Further, which script lines are neccesary to get perm subs in my KVCD. (edit as part of video encoding, yes ?).

That was a temporary link procided for test purpose. Tests are finished so now you have to go to dvd2svcd.org and download the loast official release.

Search for subtitles tools on doom9.org

DVD2SVCD will put the line itself. Nothing to change manually. You have to select "external subtitle" in the menu that appears when you click the button "go'.
