When I open an AVI I downloaded in VirtualDub I get this error:

Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DX50' (unknown)
VDUb requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video.

If someone could please post the link for this required CODEC i'd appreciate it.

DX50 is the short word for Divx 5.0. Install divx 5.05 or 5.1 codec.

I may be wrong but according to Dialhot you will nead a minimum of version 5.05.

Version 5.02 is earlier to 5.05 so i suggest updating,

You can download the latest free divx player and codecs from www.divx.com
