CQMatic predicting all movie length insteed a 2 min sample

Hello,

I finally manage to understand what happens to some people that can't use CQMatic correctly.

Sometimes CQMatic fails to do its prediction because it tries to test all the movie length insteed of taking a 2 minutes sample.

I just found what cause this : that happens when you have an audio source indicated in tmpgenc project.

 Even if you force the project to "ES video only", you must erase reference to audio source.

Yep. That's another TMPGEnc bug :!:
And you can reproduce the error any time, even running TMPEG by itself.

I have this error at home even without an audio source.

At work, with the same source, same version of DVD2AVI, Avisynth, TMPGEnc, etc., it works OK. Ooops! I shouldn't be doing this at work

I know it's a TMPGENc bug, here's what I did trying to debug it:

1) Aborted CQMatic and TMPGEnc.
2) Opened CQMatic.tpr with notepad.
3) The cut editing settings where all there, so CQMatic is OK.
4) Started TMPGEnc and opened CQMatic.tpr.
5) Hit Start Encoding, it tries to encode the whole movie.
6) Aborted.
7) Advanced | Source Range, move to end frame.
8) Cancel, Cancel.
9) Start Encoding again.
10) this time the movie is correctly sampled.

TMPGEnc only "learned" the editing after I forced it to move to the last sample.

I don't know why it happens in one machine, and not in the other.
:?
