Best order for deinterlace and colorspace conversion?
Hi,
Because the capture codec (picvideo) does not support captures in yv12 I capture using yuy2 and convert to yv12 within the avs-script. I've tested a few placements and can't seen any difference viewing the scripted film with vdub. But there may be differences for the mpeg encoder or other filters. Here is what I currently use: Code:
KernelDeint(order=0) What is the best order (for quality) of the three lines, especially of the ConvertToYV12() call? Holger |
With avisynth the best place is just after the load of the source because avisynth (2.5 and upper) is internally optimized to work in this color space.
With vdub, I don't know if there is such a difference. |
