Best order for deinterlace and colorspace conversion?

Hi,

Because the capture codec (picvideo) does not support captures in yv12 I capture using yuy2 and convert to yv12 within the avs-script. I've tested a few placements and can't seen any difference viewing the scripted film with vdub. But there may be differences for the mpeg encoder or other filters. Here is what I currently use:
Code:

KernelDeint(order=0)
LetterBox(122,120,0,0)
ConvertToYV12(interlaced=false)

(The LetterBox is required to remove the tv chanel logos and to make the black borders really black...)

What is the best order (for quality) of the three lines, especially of the ConvertToYV12() call?

With avisynth the best place is just after the load of the source because avisynth (2.5 and upper) is internally optimized to work in this color space.

With vdub, I don't know if there is such a difference.
