TMPGEnc: Combining audio into Karaoke

Hi there,
I would like to know if there is any "free" program which can combine 2 audio into 1 (Karaoke, left=vocal, right=music only). because I want to rip karaoke songs from a DVD, I know I have to rip 1 video vob file and 2 audio tracks (2 wav files), but I don't know how to combine 2 audio tracks into 1 for Tmpeg to encode as KVCD mpeg. Thanks!

bbmpeg

To multiplex 2 audio streams in TMPGenc use the multiplex option, not simple multiplex. Instead of adding one stream just add two.

Or try bbmpeg 1.24 beta 18 AVI encoder it can mux two audio streams... 8)

Multiplexing with 2 audio streams will result in a MPEG file with 2 audio streams (no surprise there).
MPEG1 does not support 2 audio streams, and if I got that right, the question was how to merge 2 (stereo) audio streams to 1 dual channel audio stream.

I am not quite sure how I should read "free", but there is a freeware app called Audacity which will get the job done.
You might need to convert the two wav files to mono first.

As for "free" read as: to be found for free on the net, you might want to try SoundForge or CoolEdit ...
