Very low volume for ac3 using AC3Machine and BeSweet?
@Anyone,
I used vmesquita's DVD to KDVD guide and for audio converted .wav to .ac3 using AC3Machine & BeSweet v1.4. The volume was so low that at maximum it was barely audible. I tracked down a potential reason for this on Doom9: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...me+ac3+besweet I tried their solution in this thread, but the volume is still very low. If anyone is having the same problem please post your solution. SoftEncode is no longer available, but seems to have solved this problem. Couldn't find SurEncode either. :( -bp |
Hi BlackPrince,
I'm glad to hear you're trying my guide. I've heard about this problem with AC3Machine, but it never happened to me. But I mainly use softencode to avoid compatibility with pioneer players of my friends. Surcode can't go anything other than 6 channel audio, so it's not very usable... []'s VMesquita |
Hi blackprince,
try serch this keyword "softencode divxmania" in yahoo.com--you will get it... Sukasem |
I've been able to solve this problem with BeSweet. Using the latest BeSweetGui, I set it to PostGain Normalization to 100%, and that does the trick. Test it out and see if that works for you. For me, I was downsampling a 448 kbps 5.1 channel AC3 file down to 224 kbps, and this was the only setting that preserved the volume levels
