okay......i have given up trying mainconcept and tried this guide....

http://www.weethet.nl/english/video_divx2kvcd.php

It was very simple but not very effective....it didnt give very good quality...

I know this because i encoded the file once normallly and one with the kvcd guide and the normal vcd was much better....so i heard avs scripts give great quality.....i used black prince's guide to convert to kvcd....
NOTHING is going right.......

1: my ac3 file has some errors and headac3he does not convert it......i tried ac3fix and besplice......none of them work......and gspot says it is a real ac3 file.....

2: i tried to just encode the video.....i used this avs script i created with moviestacker.....it was my first one.....but an error comes in the video tab in TOK saying:

"ACM failed to suggest a compatible PCM format
(C:\Program Files\BT Movies\potc.avs, line "

this is the script:

#================================================= =====#
# -= AviSynth script by MovieStacker v2.0.0 (beta3) =- #
#================================================= =====#

LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRAM FILES\MOVIESTACKER\Filters\MPEG2Dec.dll")
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRAM FILES\MOVIESTACKER\Filters\GripFit_preview.dll")

AviSource("C:\Program Files\BT MOVIES\Pirates.Of.The.Caribbean.DVDSCR.avi")
GripCrop(352, 240, source_anamorphic=false)
GripSize(resizer="BilinearResize")
GripBorders()
AssumeFPS(23.976, true)

I tried to encode it anyways but tmpgenc says something about only 8x8 and 480x480 or something.......

3: This is all the stuff i downloaded to make it work :

Tmpgenc
BEsweet
Bespliced
Besplit
kvcd templates
avisynth 2.08 (with the gripfit plugin)
headac3he(with the dlls)
Tok
Virtual dub
dvd2svcd
Wavefile Length Adjust
bbmpeg
Moviestacker

But no success.......

PLEASE can u just make an avs file for me which is RESIZED to 352x240 and NOT cropped......it is in mpeg 1 vcd format.......please....i have tried everything........give me suggestions.......i just want to fit a movie in one cd with quality just like a two cd normal vcd.....

TELL ME WHAT I AM DOING WRONG AND PLEASE CREATE AN AVS FILE FOR ME AND HELP ME WITH HEADAC3HE......please...........

Read the disclaimer first, then move topic, then use avicodec to check whether you have the right codecs!
