KVCD made from xvid file is over 1gb!

Hey all please help me im so lost I got this weird problem:

whenever i make a kvcd of a divx avi it works out fine, but whenever i make one of xvid the file is over 1gb, I know I am doing everythign right, following a gudie to making a kvcd step by step doing everything right, so what is the problem?

I haven't set the CQ quality too high and am using the ulbr template :)

I don't quite understand what to look for, I have encoded many divx xvid movies to kvcd ULBR and encountered no problems.
