hello people. i use the kvcd templates regularly and theyre great. however in somes scenes i notice the background is a little blocky on playback through my standalone dvd player. i have downloaded various films already encoded to kvcd ready to burn and the quality is always perfect.

is there any tweaks (simple please as i am a newbie) to tmpgenc which can sort out this problem and still be able to have the movie on 1 disc

There are no simple solution. This is an advanced site ( as it reads on the top of the forum: "Advanced Video Conversion" )
Please read the threads on the "Optimal script" forum, and also read the "CQMatic" forum.
That's the way we achieve such high quality, togehter with TMPEG and KVCD's "Notch" matrix.
