xvid source - can't get any audio?
Hi,
Well, my first crack at it and I can't get any audio, Here is my situation, when I selected the audio source and I go into Settings, I go into audio edit and press play I get no audio. I also encoded it twice as to what the idiot's guide said, When I play the original video file it plays fine with the audio. I dropped that file into Gspot, and the original format of the audio is MPEG-3 The video file is XVID format Please help as I am an adimitted idiot! |
"I am An Idiot."
Oh Yeah!!?.....Well you may be an idiot.......but I'm Ugly!! And You can go to school and .............. 8O ..........wait............... 8O ........well..... you can stick your head up a butchers ass but wouldn't you rather....... No!....wait............... 8O . Never mind. I am an idiot! Re: question. I think you have seperated your sound and video from the sounds of it, but you are playing back your video file expecting to hear sound. Once you have converted your audio to mp2, you have to multiplex the video and mp2 audio back together to get the video with the sound. 8O That was... AWSEOME!! :D Of course, that is unless I completely misunderstood you. :? Good chance of that. |
After I do the mutliplexing, I play back the file and there is no audio,
When I seperate the audio, and I play back that audio file that has been created, I get no sound. TMPG is not getting info from the audio source file, because when I play the original audio file back within TMPG I get no audio. |
Hi,
Well, I solved my own problem, I use VirtualDub to separate the audio into an Wav file, then I use BeSweet to encode the WAV file into a MP2, file, So, I multiplex the video and audio file and I burned it with Nero, I would like to thank this forum for the help, and a big thanks to "Cougar Pines" and "Qsolis" for their guides. |
