How to convert .DAT to VCD ?
 

I have a project that is 2 cds at present, and i want to convert them to 1 kvcd obviously or i wouldnt be here :D .

The problem is the two disks are bin fles and when extracted the movie file is in .dat format.

Is there anyway of me combining the two .dat files together and then converting them to kvcd?

Ive been encoding other movies (mainly .avi format) to kvcd for a month or so now but never come accross a .dat file b4.

i finally got VCD Easy v 1.17

I am still confused about importing the .dat files i have in to the program and then converting them?

Can someone elaberate on how to do this please?

It's simple indeed. You didn't look at to correct place, that's all.

Open VCDEasy, click on tools on the left, then MPEG tools on the top bar. Finally at the bottom of the window you find the entry for cdxa2mpeg. That what you need.

can you use dazzle 200 instead to convert?

You can use also VCDGear. But I think like dial hot VCDEasy is the best choise.

But how exactly do you go about squashing 2 mpg1 files into 1 kvcd?
