Hi Mole:

720x576 8O You're going to have to increase the bit rate more.
At a MAX of 2,300Kbps in the template, you're going to see blocks.

Hi Kwag!

Im happy to inform that i have made a perfect backup of the sixth sense, it is a 628MB file, even after i increased the CQ to 78, but then i tried to make Remember the Titans it became 900MB file with the original settings of your template, i mean cq=70 and all that stuff, im amazed with the quality because it looks almost the same as a divx i have made weeks ago (but the divx size was 1.43GB, more than 500MB larger), in spite of the smaller size, as you may guess, it doesnt fit on any 80 min cdr it is simply too big, do you know any way i can decrease the size without sacrificing the almost perfect quality i've got???? Please say yes!! Please!

Also, im having troubles with the same movie for cutting the end credits, TMPGenc doesnt allow me to make any change to the file.

Will appreciate any help. Thanks.

DaDe.

Hi DaDe:

 Sorry!, have to say no
If you lower the CQ below 70, quality will drop very rapidly.

However, lower the resolution to 352x240, and increase CQ to 78.
It'll fit, with VCD quality, and no blocks on high speed scenes.

For cuttong, try an older version of TMPEG, version 12B is the best for cutting and keeping audio in sync.

I reported to Pegasys-Inc the cutting and audio/video problems with the latest versions of TMPEG. Let's hope they fix it in the next version(s)
